We are located at UBC's Okanagan Campus in the beautiful BC interior city of Kelowna.  

The campus is situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan Nation. 

 

We are based in the Biology Department on the second floor of the Arts and Science building.

Undergraduate Opportunities

  • Throughout the school year, we offer undergraduate research positions.

  • However, it is essential to note that this is contingent upon space availability in the lab.

  • These take the form of honors thesis, directed studies, and volunteer research student placements during the school year.

  • Positions usually intensify over the summer period if funding is successfully secured through the IKB Faculty of Science URA or NSERC USRA via a competitive application process. ​
