These research positions (when available) take the form of honors thesis, directed studies, and volunteer research student placements during the school year.

Positions usually intensify over the summer period if funding is successfully secured through the IKB Faculty of Science URA or NSERC USRA or other Funding mechanisms (via a competitive application process). ​
